I think I would agree to this, to an extent. Workingmans has long been my favorite album from the dead and while its a bit more country than the dead actually is, its a pretty decent representation.

Thing is tho, you could find a live version of each song played on those albums that are performed better.

No, not at all, I'm saying it could be useful to "hook" someone. It's a way in.
